Abstract:

The search for productive cultivars, adapted to the place of cultivation at different times and with desirable agronomic characteristics is a constant. With this in mind, the objective of this work was to evaluate common bean cultivars of the carioca group, black and early in two sowing periods (safrinha and crop) in southwestern Goiás and to verify the grain yield of the cultivars concomitant with the evaluation of the production factors of the common bean plant that directly influence the harvest. The experimental design was in randomized blocks, with twelve treatments consisting of the cultivars: Pearl, BRS Style, BRS Horizonte, BRS Pontal, BRS Refinement, BRS Valente, BRS Supreme, BRS Graphite, BRS Splendor, BRS Radiante and Early Jalo with four repetitions. With average grain yield above 1400 Kg ha-1 in the crop (waters) stood out the cultivars BRS Estilo, Pearl, BRS Esplendor, BRS Campeiro, BRS Pontal and Jalo Precoce. In the dry season with grain yield above 1150 Kg ha-1 BRS Splendor, BRS Valente, BRS Horizonte, BRS Style, BRS Pontal, BRS Graphite and BRS Refinement. In safrinha the cultivars of the carioca and black group stood out as the most productive while in the early group the least productive. In the crop, the cultivars of the carioca group, black and early were more productive.
