Abstract:

Aimed to evaluate the effect of sedimentation on soil and plant chemical attributes and agronomic components of soybean crop. The experiment was carried out in a greenhouse at the Federal University of Goiás - Jataí Campus, with Red-Yellow Latosol, representative of soil formed from the Tertiary-Quaternary Debris-Lateritic Cover, located in Montividiu - GO, Brazil. degraded pasture. The design was completely randomized, with four replications in the 2 x 6 + 1 factorial scheme: 2 doses of limestone (zero and 1,600 kg ha-1) and 6 doses of basaltic rock dust (0.0, 960, 1,920, 3,840, 5,760 and 7,680 kg ha-1) and a control fertilizer (conventional fertilization). The evaluations were initiated during the flowering period of the crop, where they were carried out: chemical analysis of soil and plant, plant height, shoot and root dry mass, nodulation dry mass and chlorophyll content, and yield at harvest time. There was effect of stonemeal on soil acidity and exchangeable Al content. Basalt dust also increased soil macro and micronutrient contents and contributed to increased grain yield, dry matter and plant height.
