Agronomist Engineer (State University of Montes Claros - UNIMONTES), Master, Doctorate and Post-Doctorate both in Plant Engineering (Plant Production) by the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). She's currently Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Goiás-Jataí Regional and serves as advisor to the Agronomy Postgraduate Program (Plant Production). She's Section Editor of the journals: Brazilian Journal of Fruit, Ceres and Comunicata Scientiae. Has experience in Fruit Farming in the areas: Production Physiology, Propagation, Management and Cultural Treatments, Postharvest Management and Genetic improvement. She is the co-breeder of eight MAPA-registered peach cultivars (UFV Anambo: 35871; UFV Apolo: 35872; UFV Arano: 35873; UFV Aueto: 35874; UFV Baro: 35876; UFV Guarano: 35877 and UFV Guato: 35878.).
