SOLANGE NEIS
Abstract:
The experiment was conducted in Goian Southwest, in Aparecida do Rio Doce - GO municipality. Four pruning seasons were evaluated (1) 09/07/07, (2) 09/28/07, (3) 03/03/08 and (4) 19/04/08 on the vine “Niagara Rosada” aiming to introduce it in the region, evaluating the phenological behavior as well as the thermal requirement in the different pruning times. The experiment was carried out in the harvests of 2007 and 2008 on canned vines at Campo Belo Farm. Variables associated with phonology, thermal requirement, yield per plant, cluster and berry evaluation, pH, soluble solids (SS), titratable acidity (AT) and SS/AT ratio were analyzed in the yields obtained in the four seasons. The length of the cycle was 127, 130, 163 and 161 days for pruning 1, 2, 3 and 4, respectively, and in seasons 1 and 2 the harvest was 32 days ahead of the others. The highest and lowest thermal requirements, considering a base temperature of 10 and 12 ° C, were recorded for pruning in July (shortest cycle - 127 days) and April (second longest cycle - 161 days) with 2,214.5 and 1,911, 5 degree days and 1,960.3 and 1,638.3 degree days, respectively. The periods from the beginning to the end of ripeness, ½ berry at the beginning of ripeness; “Pea” to ½ berry presented the longest duration in the 4 pruning seasons. The largest mass of bunches was found in pruning in July and April. Pruning carried out in March and April allowed greater number of bunches and higher production. The pruning of September presented larger diameter, length and mass of berries. The amount of fruits was similar between the seasons, showing only statistical difference for pH, TA and SS/TA ratio in the 4 seasons.
